I grew up in San D...I thoroughly enjoyed this post. I grew up in San Diego and remember driving by the Coronado Hotel many times in my youth. At the time I had no idea how long it has been around. It was still one of the places to go and see. As for the ghost, I was doing my own California ghost research last week and ran across the story of the Coronado Hotel ghost. I await your telling of the tale. I have had your book on my TRB list for some time, but now I'm intrigued.
